On Monday 15 June I attended the first talk in a new series hosted by Sadler’s Wells: We need to talk – Gillie Kleiman with Keith Hennessy. This series was conceived with the intention of:
…opening a space for debate about why dance matters today and how it relates to an expanding creative field. New names in dance and performance invite leading creative voices to join them in conversation.
It was great. It had me comparing myself to Mariah Carey (blush), asking way too many questions, and calling on my rusty drawing skillz (see below).
The next talk in the series – We need to talk – Matthias Sperling with Marcus Coates – is on at 7pm tonight, Wednesday 24 June. Tickets cost £7.50. The talk will be BSL interpreted.
