It's Sunday and you've probably seen this already, the culture vulture that you are. If you haven't, don't feel guilty. If you would rather go for a run, eat a box of cereal, watch gloriously inane TV, or produce an amazing work of culturally astute art, you don't lose points with me. You won't, however, make John Naughton's list of Britain's Top 300 Intellectuals. The list mentions, categorically, musicians, playwrights, poets and theatre directors, in my opinion totally ignoring a wealth of huge thinkers in the visual art, dance and performance sectors. So either these people are not intellectual enough, their very vocations are not intellectual enough, or John Naughton's idea of what an intellectual is or does is distinctly up the intellectual pole. My suspicion is the latter. Good morning.
For the love of lists
